Whether oatmeal, muesli, or colorful breakfast cereals, our deep cereal bowls can hold all kinds of breakfast treats. But our cereal bowls don't just find their place at the table in the morning. At lunch or dinner, they are particularly suitable for side salads or soups.
Your main courses have plenty of space on our large Telma plates. They are suitable for meat and fish dishes as well as for vegetarian and vegan delicacies. Or would you prefer pasta today? Then get your deep Telma pasta plates from the cupboard, as they are perfect for spaghetti, penne, and more. Other delicious main courses like curries, stews, mixed salads, or chili also become a feast for the eyes in these pasta plates.
For dessert, a piece of cake or torte will find its place on our small Telma plate. They are also perfectly suited for snacks in between meals. Because our set is so extensive, it is also ideal for evenings cooking with friends.
Traditional Craftsmanship in a Timeless Design
But what is so special about our plate & tableware set made of stoneware? It is carefully handcrafted in Portugal by various family-run businesses. We pay special attention to fair working conditions, natural materials, and an environmentally friendly production process. The plates and bowls are formed from high-quality European stoneware and fired at 1200°C. These high firing temperatures later ensure that our plates are robust and can also be placed in the microwave and dishwasher.
After the first firing, reactive glazes compliant with EEC guidelines are applied. They ensure that our plates later get a very special color gradient, making each individual plate one-of-a-kind. Finally, the plates are fired again to harden the glazes.
The special feature of our Telma series is that the surface of the plates is half glazed and half unglazed. This creates an authentic look, as the natural surface of the stoneware is preserved.
Proper Care
The unique look of our plates will be preserved for a particularly long time if you avoid aggressive detergents with citrus additives. Instead, make sure to use standard dishwasher tabs and gentle wash cycles. This way, you will enjoy your new favorite plates for a long time.
