Sentana Foundation
The Sentana Foundation is committed to helping animals and people in difficult life situations. Sentana gives animals without a chance a home at the Sentana Meeting and Living Farm.
During Black Week 2022, we donated 5€ per order to the Sentana shelter and sanctuary. Thanks to your support, this money was used to build a new horse stable with feeding stations. Everyone who ordered from us during this time not only invested in beautiful ceramics, but also made a contribution to animal welfare. We would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts - without you, this campaign would not have been possible.
If you are from OWL, we highly recommend a visit to Sentana Village. The place is beautiful and you can feel a special peace and gratitude with every single animal. Every time we go there, we return home a little bit enchanted.
Climatebloom
Climatebloom implements tree planting projects in OWL in the Teutoburg Forest. Large open areas have currently been created in our region due to the death of spruce trees as a result of bark beetle infestation in the forests. The Bielefeld-based company is committed to supporting private forest owners in the reforestation of these open spaces with a near-natural and climate-stable mixed deciduous forest in accordance with current scientific knowledge.
Excuse me, how cute are our trees? Yes, ours. So, yours too! During Black Friday 2021 there was a 20% discount on our entire range. This only happens once a year! With 5€ per order, we have reforested the forest in our home town of Bielefeld together with climatebloom. Thanks to you, we were able to plant a total of 2,500 trees on 10,000 square meters.
Fruit alarm
Fruchtalarm brings joy to the often stressful everyday hospital life of children and adolescents with cancer with colorful, self-mixed fruit cocktails. The drinks not only provide a welcome distraction, but also help to better meet fluid requirements - particularly important as chemotherapy often changes the sense of taste and smell and makes eating and drinking difficult.
The project originated in 2010 from the personal concern of a Bielefeld couple. Since then, a mobile children's cocktail bar has been rolling along the corridors of 43 children's cancer wards in Germany once a week. The children can mix their own drinks there - a moment of self-determination, joie de vivre and variety in everyday hospital life.
In 2020, we supported Fruchtalarm with a fundraising campaign during Black Friday: 5€ went to the project for every order.
