The small Bento Plate has a diameter of 22 cm and is suitable for many different dishes, for side dishes with main meals, or as a dessert plate.

Our plates are sustainably produced in Portugal under fair conditions. Their meticulous manufacturing process ensures high quality and durability—something you already know from other Bento products.
The plates are first shaped by hand and fired. After the glaze is applied, it is hardened by firing again, making the plates robust and chip-resistant. This means you can easily put them in the dishwasher and microwave when you're in a hurry.
After the firing process, the quality of each item is checked to ensure every piece meets our high standards. The stoneware used comes from Europe, and the glazes are strictly tested according to EEC guidelines. This way, you can be sure that only sustainably produced dinnerware makes it to the table in your Slow Living home.
Care for a Long Lifespan
Because a sustainable lifestyle also means keeping possessions for a long time, we recommend the proper care for our Bento Plates. Use gentle wash cycles with standard dishwasher tabs and avoid aggressive detergents with citrus additives to clean your plates as gently as possible.
Should cutlery marks (cutlery abrasion) occur, you can easily remove them with a specialized cutlery cleaner. This way, your Bento Plates will keep their beautiful appearance for a long time and remain your faithful companions in the kitchen.
