• The hand-applied reactive glaze features two glazes reacting with each other, creating a unique color gradient. This makes every item a one-of-a-kind piece.
• As this is a handcrafted natural product, small deviations in shape and color, as well as irregularities, are possible, which lend the tableware its unique character.

To ensure your tableware lasts, we recommend using gentle wash cycles with standard dishwasher tablets. We advise against aggressive detergents with citrus additives.
Depending on the material of your cutlery, slight cutlery abrasion may occur. This can be easily removed with cutlery cleaning polish. You can get this polish in almost any drugstore or supermarket.

Our plates are sustainably produced in Portugal under fair conditions and offer high quality and durability through their meticulous manufacturing process—something you already know from other Elsa 2.0 products.

The plates are first hand-shaped and fired. After applying the glaze, it is hardened by firing again, which makes the plates robust and shock-resistant. This means you can easily put them in the dishwasher and microwave when you need to be quick.

After the firing process, the quality of the goods is checked so that every piece meets our high standards. The stoneware used comes from Europe, and the glazes are strictly tested according to EEC directives. This ensures that only sustainably produced tableware ends up on the table in your Slow Living home.

Because a sustainable lifestyle also means keeping possessions for a long time, we recommend the correct care for our Elsa 2.0 plates. Use gentle wash cycles with regular dishwasher tabs and avoid aggressive cleaning agents with citrus additives to clean your plates as gently as possible.
