• The hand-applied reactive glaze features two glazes reacting with each other, creating a unique color gradient. This makes every item a one-of-a-kind piece.

To ensure your tableware lasts, we recommend using gentle wash cycles with standard dishwasher tablets. We advise against aggressive detergents with citrus additives.
Depending on the material of your cutlery, slight cutlery abrasion may occur. This can be easily removed with cutlery cleaning polish. You can get this polish in almost any drugstore or supermarket.

After firing at 1200 °C, two reactive glazes are applied by hand, which, after being fired again, create a unique color gradient on every single bowl. Due to the hand-shaping, slight irregularities also occur in the form. This imperfection is also found, for example, in the aesthetic concept of Wabi-Sabi, where beauty is found in the transient and the natural.

It is particularly important to us that, during production, sustainable materials are used and a high quality is achieved. Our stoneware therefore comes from Europe, and our glazes comply with EEC directives. The Elsa 2.0 muesli bowls are manufactured in Portugal under regular quality controls, maintaining a cooperation on equal footing with our partners there.
