The Portofino Ceramica Bento Pasta Plate for Your Slow Living Home
Do you often have to make do with old soup bowls for pasta, risotto, or curry? The simple pasta plate from our Bento collection has no flat rim, offering more space to arrange your dishes—after all, as they say, you eat with your eyes.
Simple Elegance
Our pasta plates are characterized by their simplicity, which fits effortlessly into your decor—whether in calming beige or elegant black. The natural and meticulous craftsmanship is visible on every plate, as our Bento plates are shaped and glazed by hand. The marks of this handiwork are evident in small irregularities and imperfections in shape and color. Thus, each plate embodies something natural and is also unique.
Sustainability, Quality, and Trust
At Portofino Ceramica, we work on equal footing with our production partners in Portugal, because we want to bring not only beautiful but also fair products to the market.
The stoneware for our Bento plates comes from Europe, and our glazes are strictly tested and subject to EEC guidelines. Therefore, you can be sure that your Bento plates are not only sustainably and fairly produced, but also of high quality.
This quality is also achieved through the meticulous manufacturing process of our plates. They are fired at approximately 1200°C, glazed by hand, and then fired again. This makes them durable, and they can be safely placed in the dishwasher and microwave. To ensure your Bento plates last you for a very long time, avoid aggressive detergents with citrus additives and use gentle wash cycles in the dishwasher.
Bento Set of 6 Pasta Plates
So that you never have to be without your Bento plates and can also eat together with friends, our pasta plates are available in a set of 6. During a shared cooking evening, you can transform your dining table into an elegant Slow Living oasis and create a pleasant atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable.
Our Bento pasta plates are not as inexpensive as mass-produced goods from large furniture stores. Instead, with our prices, you are paying for exactly what you get: practical and robust plates, traditional craftsmanship, a modern design, and fair and sustainable production—in short: a conscious lifestyle.
