So that you can enjoy your tableware for a long time, we recommend gentle wash cycles with standard dishwasher tablets. We advise against aggressive cleaners with citrus additives. Depending on the material of your cutlery, slight cutlery marks may occur. These can be easily removed with a cutlery cleaning product. You can get the cleaning product in almost any drugstore or supermarket.

What makes our Bento series special is its extraordinary look. The stoneware used is shaped by hand. After firing at $\text{1200}^\circ\text{C}$, two reactive glazes are applied by hand, which, after a second firing, create a unique color gradient on every single bowl. The hand-shaping process also results in slight irregularities in the form. This imperfection is also reflected in the aesthetic concept of Wabi-Sabi, where beauty is found in the transient and natural.

It is particularly important to us that sustainable materials are used in production while high quality is achieved. Our stoneware therefore comes from Europe, and our glazes are subject to EEC directives. The Bento cereal bowls are manufactured in Portugal under regular quality controls, in a partnership based on equal footing with our partners there.
