Would you like to buy a stoneware cereal bowl, but want it to be not only beautiful, but also sustainably and fairly produced? Our Flores range is made by hand with a lot of love and under environmentally friendly conditions - with the sunny flair of Portugal in the design.
Modern design meets traditional craftsmanship
Our designs embody everything we often miss in the cold winter: the rays of the sun, the gentle sound of the sea and the vibrant culture of Portugal. The Flores cereal bowl in soft cream or subtle turquoise brings exactly that into your home with its timeless design: a piece of Portugal.
But not only are our designs inspired by the Atlantic coast, our producers are also located nearby: small family businesses in Alcobaça, between Porto and Lisbon. They take great care in shaping the European stoneware. They then fire the bowls at almost 1200°C and apply reactive glazes by hand. These are hardened by re-firing and ensure that our Flores cereal bowls are robust and hard-wearing.
The reaction of the glazes creates a special color gradient in our cereal bowls, which is different in every bowl and is reminiscent of the unique imperfection of nature.
A bowl for the whole day
With the natural charm of our cereal bowls, you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes and snacks. Not only muesli, porridge and fruit can be served in the deep bowls, but salads and soups are also a visual delight.
If your food gets cold, you can simply put the bowl in the microwave, because the high-quality stoneware and glazes in accordance with EEC guidelines make our Flores tableware robust and impact-resistant. You can therefore also put it in the dishwasher without any problems. To care for them properly, it is best to use conventional dishwasher tabs and gentle washing cycles. Aggressive detergents with citrus additives should be avoided.
Fair prices for fair quality
Our prices are higher than those for machine-produced mass-produced goods. This is because we attach great importance to sustainable and environmentally friendly production and fair working conditions. However, as our cereal bowls are made from high-quality materials, unlike cheap products they remain beautiful for a long time and do not need to be replaced.
